Azan and Quran – Privacy Policy

1. Why do we need any data at all

Azan and Quran help you practice your faith by showing precise prayer times, playing Azan, streaming live from holy sites, and guiding you through Hajj, Salah, Wudu, and more.

To make this possible, we momentarily access two things:

• Your location is only long enough to calculate prayer times and point you to the Qiblah or nearby mosques.
• Your donation info is handled entirely by our payment partner, not us.

That’s all. We don’t want or collect anything else.

2. What happens to your location

Your location stays on your phone. It's used only to:

• Calculate prayer times
• Point to the Qiblah
• Show nearby mosques

When these are done, your GPS coordinates are immediately discarded.

We never store, send, or share them—not even with ourselves.

3. What we never collect

We do not collect:

• Names
• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Contacts
• Photos
• Files
• Advertising IDs
• Analytics or tracking data
• Bank or card numbers

4. Your controls

• Turn off location: Use your phone's permission settings. The app will still work, but prayer times and Qiblah direction may be less accurate.
• Silence notifications: Mute Adhan and alerts from your system settings or within the app.
• Remove everything: Deleting the app deletes everything it stored locally.

5. Sharing and selling data

We have nothing to sell and no one to share data with.

Stripe is the only third-party, and they only receive donation data for secure payment processing.

6. Security in plain language

• All sensitive operations, like prayer time calculation and data storage, happen on your device.
• Stripe handles donations with bank-level encryption.
• We use HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transfers.

7. Extra features and how they work

The following features work completely offline or with secure access:

• Live Stream: Streams are loaded securely and never track or identify you.
• Hajj & Salah Guide, Wudu, Six Kalima: These are informational tools only. They don’t collect or send any data.
• Quran, Dua, Hadith: Loaded locally or securely downloaded with your consent. No tracking or background sync.

8. Policy updates

If we ever change how the app works or need extra data for a new feature, we’ll update this page and show a clear notice in the app.

The date at the top always shows the latest version.
